The World’s Youngest Billionaire

Millennials are setting themselves aside as the generation to utilize technology to change the way we do things, and break the bank in the process.

Whether it be through social media, groundbreaking medical research, or life-changing tech innovations, young entrepreneurs are redefining what it means to be young and rich.

He may not have made the cut to  the Forbes 400, but 24-year-old Evan Spiegel is the youngest billionaire in the world!

As creator of Snapchat, a growing photo-sharing mobile app, Spiegel has emerged as the youngest tech innovator to be a billionaire.

Spiegel, who just recently moved out of his parent’s home in southern California, owns about 15% of Snapchat.

Recently valued at over $10 billion by investors, (and growing to $19 billion), Snapchat itself is a different kind of innovation. Seeing as the free app doesn’t generate any revenue but is used by hundreds of millions of people every day, the potential to generated massive revenue and value is what pegged Spiegel’s net worth to be around $1.5 billion.

The young billionaire purchased his new home in California for $3.3 million. It must feel pretty chill to be this young and rich.
